How I Work
The belief in universal law and the human capacity to develop and change circumstances forms the base for my workshops and my counselling sessions.
Workshops:
I keep the numbers of participants low to enable people to interact, share and learn from each other. I like to give my students my full attention. The minimum number of participants is six and the maximum is 15. One comment that comes back and back again is that people liked the atmosphere in the group and felt safe and supported in their learning.
Every workshop has a workbook and certain learning outcomes. However, I feel it is important to leave enough room for flexibility. People come with very different needs sometimes and I like to be able to attend to those needs.
All my workshops are based on adult learning principles. People who attend my workshops want to be there. They want to learn and are actively involved in their learning. Everybody is respected for who they are. We are all individuals and therefore unique. In my workshops we celebrate our uniqueness and how this helps us to create an oneness.
Counselling:
My counselling approach is based on strength and solution focused principles. Everybody has strengths. Often we can’t see our own strength. You and I will work with your strength to enable you to make changes to your life. I will help you to figure out where you want to go and how you get there.
Inner child work is also part of my counselling approach. Our inner child is often neglected and hurting. The inner child needs to heal for the adult to function well.
Often I combine a counselling session with Reiki. This helps people to relax after the session and balances their energetic field.
